Lavender oil for Skin Care

If you are interested in having an elastic skin, relaxed, without acne, there is nothing better than Lavender oil for skin care.

Lavender essential oil will not only help you disinfect wounds and cuts, but it can also help treat acne, regenerate tissue and prevent wrinkles. Lavender is an oil idea for all skin types.

For its soothing, antiseptic, cytophylactic and anti-inflammatory properties, Lavender has proven to be one of the most effective essential oils in natural cosmetics, and here we give you a series of recipes and solutions for the most common skin conditions.

ACNE: Prepare a tonic by combining 4oz of distilled water with 30 drops of Lavender. Place this preparation in a container with spray. Essential oil and water do not mix so always shake well before spraying your face. Use this toner on clean skin, morning and evening.
Use a moisturizing gel for the face (which has no artificial ingredients), add 30 drops of Lavender to a 4oz bottle of gel and use this as your moisturizer.

Facial steam: Heat 2 liters of water and place in a large container. Add 5 drops of Lavender. Lean your face over the steam and place a towel over your head to form a tent to capture the steam. Be careful not to burn yourself. Relax and enjoy the steam for 5 to 10 minutes.

DRY SKIN: Gently melt 1 tablespoon of cocoa butter in a bain-marie. Add 3 drops of Lavender and use this preparation as a moisturizer on clean skin before going to sleep.

WRINKLES: Use a gentle scrub once a week to help remove dead cells and stimulate lymph flow and circulation: Combine 1 tablespoon of powdered oatmeal with 1 teaspoon of honey and 1 teaspoon of aloe vera or jojoba. To this combination add 7 drops of Lavender. Mix well and apply to the skin of the face with gentle circular movements.

Moisturize your skin using rosehip oil. To a 1oz bottle of Rosehips add 10 drops Lavender and use it as your daily moisturizer.

BURNS: For minor burns, place the burned area under cold water for 5 minutes and apply undiluted Lavender on the burned area. Continue doing this for 3 days.

SUNBURNS: Combine 1 tablespoon of aloe vera gel with 5 drops of Lavender and apply this refreshing mixture on the affected area.

CRACKED SKIN IN FEET AND HANDS: Combine 1 tablespoon of wheat germ oil with 7 drops of lavender. Massage the cracked areas with this preparation. You can use this preparation for as long as you need until you see the skin improve.

ECZEMA / DERMATITIS: Fill a bathtub with warm water. Combine 1 tablespoon of oatmeal, 1 cup of plain yogurt made with whole milk and 1 tablespoon of avocado oil. To this preparation add 10 drops of Lavender and mix well until the essential oil has completely dissolved. Place this preparation in the tub with hot water and take a bath for about 15 minutes. Do it at least twice a week.

HAIR CARE: Lavender is excellent for dry hair, hair loss, oily hair and itchy scalp. Choose a neutral PH shampoo and add 30 drops of lavender per 4oz of shampoo.
For hair loss and scalp treatment, combine 1 tablespoon of warm coconut oil with 5 drops of Lavender. Massage the scalp and cover with a plastic and a towel. Allow the oil to act for 30 minutes. Use your lavender shampoo to remove the oil.
